In light of COVID-19, five different scholarship opportunities for incoming MBAs (open to all schools) who will show through an application and virtual presentation how they intend to #PayItForward to next year's scholarship recipient.
The five separate scholarship opportunities will be awarded to an:

Incoming MBA Student who Identifies as a Woman;

Incoming MBA Student who is a U.S. Active Duty Military Servicemember or U.S. Veteran;

Incoming MBA Student who is Interested in Venture Capital or Private Equity;

Incoming MBA Student at The University of Texas at Austin Based on Financial Need; or
-
The Brand Foundry Ventures Scholarship.

This scholarship focuses on diversity and inclusion, traditionally underrepresented racial or ethnic minority groups in the U.S., and underprivileged groups in the venture capital industry

Why did you donate to Pay It Forward MBA?
I've rarely had the opportunity to pay it forward in my life and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to start. Gbenoba's ability to put this all together to help others and bring more diversity to business is unbelievably inspiring. I'm excited to be able to support this initiative and watch the incredible things Pay It Forward does!
What advice would you give to incoming MBA students?
It can be intimidating and there may be many times that you look around a room and feel like you do not belong but whoever you are and whatever your story is the world needs passionate and driven people that bring diverse perspectives. Whatever happens don't forget the reasons you decided to pursue an MBA in the first place - it will give you the motivation to always move forward, to always question the status quo, and to make the most of your MBA experience.
